Your deep core works with your pelvic floor, breathing, and back to support every movement. Rebuild strength and control with one-on-one, guided physical therapy.

Understanding It
The deep core is more than visible abdominal muscles. It includes the diaphragm, deep abdominals, back muscles, and pelvic floor working together as a system to support your spine and manage pressure.
After pregnancy, abdominal surgery, injury, or a long break from activity, this system may not coordinate the way it used to. Core and abdominal rehabilitation focuses on restoring that control so everyday movement and exercise feel strong and stable.
Common Concerns
Everyone's experience is different. These are common reasons women reach out — your evaluation focuses on what applies to you.
How PT May Help
Learning to coordinate breathing with your core and pelvic floor to manage pressure during effort.
Targeted exercises to rebuild control before progressing to strength.
Applying core control to lifting, carrying, and everyday movement.
A gradual, monitored return to the workouts and activities you enjoy.
Your evaluation looks at your breathing, abdominal wall, posture, pelvic floor, and how you move during everyday tasks and exercise.
As a physical therapist-owned practice, every visit is one-on-one for 45–60 minutes. There is no one-size-fits-all program — your plan is built around your history and goals, and adjusted as you progress. Results vary from person to person, and we will be honest with you about what to expect.
Your Appointment
If you have had abdominal surgery, please bring any precautions from your surgeon so your plan respects your recovery.
Your visit starts with time to share your history, symptoms, and goals with your physical therapist in a private room.
Your physical therapist assesses how you move and how the areas related to your concerns are working, explaining each step as you go.
You leave with a clear explanation of what we found, a plan of care, and a few strategies to start at home.
FAQs

Abdominal separation is a widening of the connective tissue between the left and right abdominal muscles. It is common during and after pregnancy. Physical therapy focuses on how well your core functions and controls pressure, not only the size of the gap.
No exercise is universally good or bad. The right exercises depend on your symptoms, history, and goals. Your physical therapist will help you choose and progress exercises that are appropriate for you.
Core control can be one piece of managing low back discomfort. Your evaluation will look at your back, hips, and movement patterns, and your plan may include core work alongside other strategies.
