Pelvic pain can be hard to describe and easy to dismiss. We take time to listen, look carefully at what may be contributing, and build a plan around you.

Understanding It
Pelvic pain can feel like aching, pressure, sharp discomfort, or tension in the pelvis, hips, tailbone, or low back. It may come and go, or flare with sitting, exercise, or certain activities.
Pain in this area often involves several factors — muscle tension, joint mechanics, posture, breathing, stress, and past injuries or surgeries. Physical therapy takes a whole-person view and works alongside your medical providers.
Common Concerns
Everyone's experience is different. These are common reasons women reach out — your evaluation focuses on what applies to you.
How PT May Help
Learning to release tension in the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles through breathing and guided techniques.
Restoring comfortable movement in the hips, pelvis, and spine.
Hands-on techniques may be used when appropriate and always with your consent.
Understanding what may be driving your symptoms so you can make informed choices about activity.
Your evaluation explores your history and symptoms, and looks at your hips, pelvis, spine, breathing, and pelvic floor to understand what may be contributing.
As a physical therapist-owned practice, every visit is one-on-one for 45–60 minutes. There is no one-size-fits-all program — your plan is built around your history and goals, and adjusted as you progress. Results vary from person to person, and we will be honest with you about what to expect.
Your Appointment
You are always in control of your visit — we explain each step, and you can pause or decline any part of the exam.
Your visit starts with time to share your history, symptoms, and goals with your physical therapist in a private room.
Your physical therapist assesses how you move and how the areas related to your concerns are working, explaining each step as you go.
You leave with a clear explanation of what we found, a plan of care, and a few strategies to start at home.
FAQs
Prefer to talk it through? Call 678-765-0909.
Pelvic pain can have many contributors, including muscle tension, joint or nerve irritation, posture, past injury or surgery, and medical conditions. Your physician can help rule out medical causes, and physical therapy focuses on the movement and muscle-related factors.
Discomfort with intimacy can sometimes be related to pelvic floor muscle tension or coordination. Your physical therapist can talk with you privately about whether pelvic floor care may be appropriate for your situation.
Not always, but we recommend seeing your physician about new or unexplained pelvic pain. Physical therapy can work alongside your medical care.
